First, you need to emphasize on your mental health. As I said above, self-catharsis is necessary. Start writing a journal to express yourself, or write a story or poem if your nature allows you to do. Talking with a friend over the phone or meet her/him in person helps as well. You can share your feelings and thoughts with her. Take a deep breathe whenever you feel down and calm down. And one important thing is to forgive, whoever hurt you. Believe me, you’ll be more in peace after forgiving everyone.

A physically fit mother can nurture the child well than a weak mother. What you have to do to be a physically fit mother, is to eat healthy food. Drink more water, cut off soda and caffeine from your life. Go for a walk with your favorite person. Do exercise and add more physical activities to your routine.

Spiritual Health:

Try to recite at least one page of Quran Daily. Do azkaar especially say Astaghfar a lot. Read the translation of the Quran and read Biographies of Prophet Mohammad S A W W and Sahaba. Meditate yourself. Pray Tahajjud and share your untold things to Allah. Seek patience and follow Sunnah. By this, your kids will also follow your footsteps and will be close to Almighty.

Artistic Health:

Always ready to learn something new in life. New recipes, new art, a new hobby… anything that can allow you to express yourself. Like some people get relaxed by painting or writing. Every art is expressive. So choose according to your interests. If you are healthy enough and strong to deal with every challenge that life brings to you, so as your kids learn the things from you.

So do take care of yourself. Your health matters and a healthy mom can raise healthy kids. Because our kids are a reflection of ourselves. Act wisely, live wisely…
