Listen

Start listening… more listening, less talking.. listen to your child, if you want them to listen you back… this will help you to strengthen a strong connection with your child and will help you more to build child’s intelligence , cooperation, and ability to learn as they grow.

Listen to your child’s emotions. Listen whatever they want to share. Give them importance as you give to your friends. Understand their emotions. If they are angry or depress, just sit next to them, hold their hands, hug them and say; would you like to share what’s inside your mind or heart…? This practice will make them realize that my parents are always there for me, to listen my inner voice, and they start sharing all their problems, emotions and everything. This practice will also help you to become their safest place and a strong bond, they will soon know that my parents are the safest, and my best friends.
I know sometimes we are busy in some chores, and our child wants to talk to us on that busiest moment, at that time rather to scold them, give a hug or kiss, and listen. Because there’s nothing more important than that. We are role models, and the way we give importance and respect to our child, returns to us by them automatically.

It’s my observation, that if you are not providing yourself as a safe place to your child, soon he’ll try to find out in someone else, in some stranger that might lead to some dangerous results. .
So let’s start listening your child. .
