Child imitates whatever he/she see…
Let the kids see you doing something you hope they will imitate.
Children are amazing imitators, the difficulty is that they are not always the best interpreters of what they see, so sometimes we need to slow down and consider what model we are giving them.
For instance, I use digital media – I write on a keyboard, read on phone on laptops because it’s convenient for me.
The thing is, my kids don’t always realize that I’m doing something like reading a book or writing an article – it all looks the same. Mama is sitting at a computer or on a phone. I make a point to talk about what I do, but even more powerful than talking is what they see that they can imitate – جیسا دیکھے گا وہی کرے گا.
Like letting them see me write in a notebook or read a physical book.
Let them see that you are reading a book, talking about family and friends in a positive way, never discuss anything bad about any relative or friend in front of them. Pray 5 times a day and Recite Quran so they can imitate this also. Like my amma use to write a daily journal so I adopted the same thing. She loved poetry and she often shared poetry with me and the same I do with my kids. If I like any good story or a piece of writing I share this with my kids. Think positive, act positive and speak positively so your child will imitate the same in his life. Use your words wisely. They are copy cats and they love to copy what their parents doing.
