Visiting a new born

Everyone loves to visit the newborn babies… because babies are the blessing of Almighty Allah. And if the baby belongs to our loved ones we are more excited to visit them as soon as possible. Yesterday my best friend blessed with a baby girl MaaShaAllah TabarakAllah. And the day reminds me of my kid’s birth in Pakistan, so I thought why not share my opinion on visiting a newborn.

If you are having cough, fever, cold and any skin allergies please avoid visiting newborns, newborns are very sensitive and they can catch the germs quickly. And yes don’t wear strong smells, don’t smoke before visiting baby. Wash your hands before holding a baby. Avoid touching or kissing the baby. Babies are love, Dil Chahta Bhi hai but health and cure are more important. And if someone doing with your baby, usay pyar se samjha dein k aisa na karain aap

Call before visiting, waise tau it’s a basic ethic to visiting anyone. And when you visit try to keep your visit as short as possible. And offer your help to mom in house chores such as laundry, washing dishes or even holding a baby so mom can have a shower.

Bring food to the family or anything is frozen so the family can use later or you can cook the meal in their kitchen as well. Don’t expect that they will serve you food or any drink. Help them.

Don’t call the mom unnecessarily and if they are not picking up the calls then no need to be offended. Don’t give any advice if not asked from you. Avoid taking newborns photos or sharing them on social media without parent’s permission.

If mama is feeding the baby don’t stare or if possible leave the room. Right after the birth, moms are not in the situation to talk and sit with you so don’t bother them.

With newborn mom is in the struggling phase so be supportive and ready to respond.
